The 2021 GMC Yukon will feature new trim levels, technology, and engines that will not disappoint.

New Available Trims

The SLE,  SLT, Denali were the only trims available on the GMC Yukon. However, this year the 2021 Yukon will be available with the AT4 trim option for the first time.

The Yukon AT4 trim amplifies the Yukon’s already luxurious appearance. It will feature black leather seats with brandy-colored accents and the AT4 logo. Dark brushed aluminum details can be found throughout the cabin. The font seats are heated and ventilated to provide optimal comfort.

Enhanced Exterior

The Yukon and Yukon XL will receive an all-over exterior update. The hood now has a taller stance and more sculpted look. The Yukon will feature an all-new grille and updated C-shaped LED headlamps. Finally, the roofline has been modified to draw the eye from the front to the back of the full-size SUV.

The GMC Denali trim is known for being the most luxurious trim level and the exclusive updates the 2021 Yukon Denali will not disappoint. It will feature an exclusive grille that has over 10,000 surfaces, bright roof rails and chrome accented door handles and body trim. To accentuate the more luxurious side of the Yukon Denali, it will also offer available 22-inch bright-machined aluminum wheels with painted accents and twin polished stainless-steel tips on the dual exhaust system.

New Engine Options

The SLE, SLT, and AT4 will come standard with the 5.3L EcoTec V8 engine and 10-speed transmission. The powerful 6.2L V8 engine delivers best-in-class 420 horsepower and will come standard on the Yukon Denali. Each engine will have GMC’s Dynamic Fuel Management system to further increase efficiency. There will be a segment-exclusive Duramax diesel engine available for the 2021 Yukon. Since it is segment-exclusive, no other GM model will receive this option. It will also be pairs with a 10-speed transmission.

The first-in-class four-corner Air Ride Adaptive Suspension will be available on the 2021 Yukon and Yukon XL; it will adjust to driving conditions by optimizing ride height, thus reducing drag and increasing efficiency.

The all-new Active Response 4WD System will also be a new option on the Yukon. It is intelligently designed to send the right amount of torque needed to each wheel as needed, which helps you keep your SUV under control during strong winds, changing lanes, and more.

Luxurious & Innovative Interior

The 2021 Yukon will give you a first-class experience while driving. The class-leading power sliding center console adds a new level of luxury; when the vehicle is in “Valet Mode” you will be able to secretly store items inside that cannot be unlocked.

The overall cargo volume will increase; starting with the third-row having 40 percent more legroom, thus giving it the best-in-class cargo volume behind the third row. When hauling cargo, GMC has redesigned the Yukon to make it easier to gain access into the back; the liftgate will be at a lower angle, so you can place items in the back at ease. The second-row seats will now offer an available fold-flat position, so the second and third-row seats will fold completely flat, thus giving you more space.
