What Does It Take For A Pre-Owned Car To Be Certified?

Not just any used car can become certified – first it must meet numerous rigorous prerequisites. Certified vehicles are only those that are no older than 6 model years and have less than 75,000 miles. The used vehicle must possess a clean title, meaning that the vehicle’s ownership is free from liens, claims, or similar issues. It must also pass a Vehicle History Report, which reveals the vehicle’s ownership, accident, and repair history.  Buick GMC utilizes a thorough 172-point inspection process that all used cars must pass in order to become certified – so you can be sure that any car that qualifies for certified pre-owned status is a real gem!

Almost every part of our vehicles are covered under the 12-Month/12,000-Mile Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Premium Certification (excludes normal wear and maintenance items).  We include benefits other dealerships and manufacturers do not in order to make your ownership experience a premium one.

Premium Roadside Assistance

Towing Service - If you have a breakdown, we will arrange to have your vehicle towed to the nearest qualified repair center within a 150-mile radius.

Flat Tire Change - We will send a qualified pro to put a spare on your vehicle. If there is an issue with your spare, we will provide transportation to the nearest repair facility.

Battery Jump Service - If your vehicle won’t crank, we arrange a service provider to assist you and get you on your way.

Lock-Out Assistance - It’s embarrassing.  It’s inconvenient. We will send a service provider and cover up to $100 per occurrence to cover the cost of a locksmith.

Rental Car - If your vehicle is not drivable, we will reimburse you for up to $150.  If your vehicle is kept overnight by a repair facility for a covered repair, you’re covered.

Trip Interruption - If you are out of town and more than 150 miles away from home, we will reimburse you $100 per day for three days towards meals and lodging.   As long as the repair in question is covered, so are your expenses.

Premium Maintenance

Having your vehicle in tip-top shape gives you the confidence to move forward. That’s why we provide you with two scheduled maintenance visits during the first year of ownership. More confidence means even more adventures ahead. Services performed include scheduled oil changes, tire rotations, and multi-point inspections for the ultimate peace of mind.  Circle will also wash your vehicle with every visit and email you the vehicle’s inspection report and findings.

What Are The GM Certified Program Benefits?

Warranties - One thing that really sets CPO vehicles apart from just an average used GMC is the fact that they come with two factory-backed limited warranties. This includes a 6-year/100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty, and a 12-month/12,000-mile bumper-to-bumper limited warranty. Both of these have a $0 deductible, which means you’ll be able to save money should any issues arise.

Scheduled maintenance - When you get a GMC CPO, you are also getting the schedule maintenance program, which comes with two maintenance visits. Services here include multi-point inspections, tire rotations, and oil and filter changes.
