Trim Levels of the 2022 GMC Terrain

While the GMC Terrain might be a smaller SUV, it still packs quite a punch. It comes with a nice interior and tons of extra features, making it an improvement over every other vehicle in its class. Headlining the superior features lineup for the GMC Terrain is the wireless functionality of the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto systems which means you can display your phone's apps on the touchscreen of the Terrain without using a USB cord. New for the 2022 model year is the AT4 trim, which has a more rugged look and an underbody skid plate. Overall, there are four trim levels available for the 2022 GMC Terrain. SLE
Before we get into all of the SLE features, let's first go over the standard engine. Under the hood of all versions of the Terrain is a 1.5-liter four-cylinder that pumps out 170 horsepower and 203 lb-ft of torque which pairs with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel-drive comes standard, but all-wheel-drive is available for those looking for more traction. Now let's get to those features! The base-level SUV comes standard with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and GMC's impressive Pro Safety suite, which keeps you and your family safe with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist. Also coming standard is a premium cloth interior, a Traction Select System, and LED headlights and taillights.

SLT
As you make your way up the trim lineup, you will be treated to fancier features that start at the SLT trim. On this trim, you get leather seats that are both perforated and heated, a heated steering wheel, and a hands-free power liftgate. Several packages are available for the SLT trim, including the optional Elevation Edition, which comes with 19-inch gloss black wheels, a dark front grille, black roof rails, mirror caps, exterior badging, and more black exterior accents.

AT4
For those who are looking to do some off-roading, we highly recommend the AT4 trim! It comes standard with all-terrain tires, a Traction Select System with off-road mode, hill descent control, and AT4 embroidered headrests. In addition, you have the option of a special appearance package which adds even more impressive features such as a front steel plate.

Denali
The top-level version of the Terrain is known as the Denali, which tacks on more advanced safety systems to the GMC Pro Safety Plus technology suite as it comes with blind-spot monitoring and rear park assist. On top of this, the Denali is dedicated to luxury and has a special appearance package, premium suspension with enhanced shock control, wireless device charging, and a head-up display. Several options are available for the Denali, including ventilated front seats and heated rear seats.
