The 2020 Buick Encore GX is in Highland, Indiana at Circle Buick GMC!
Buick’s all-new 2020 Encore GX is a model of its own. Even though it shares the name “Encore”, it could not be more different. The “GX” at the end of its name stands for “Grand Crossover”. It is a new addition to the Buick SUV lineup and has earned its spot between the Encore and Envision.
Release Date & Price
The 2020 Buick Encore GX is at Circle Automotive in Highland, Indiana. Since the Encore GX is between the Encore and the Envision, the Encore GX’s price is expected to start at $25,000.
Dimensions
The biggest difference with the 2020 Encore GX is size. Originally, the Encore and Envision had 8 cubic feet difference, with no SUV splitting the gap. The Encore GX is bigger than the Encore by 5 ft3 and just 3 ft3 shy of the Envision. It is the perfect middle between a subcompact SUV and midsize SUV.
Exterior
The GX’s exterior features a sporty, athletic appearance with premium features. It includes signature, advanced headlights and headlamps with a chrome-like appearance. Interior
The interior of the Encore GX just proves that it is ready for anything and everything. Compared to the Buick Encore, the Encore GX will have 25% more cargo space. It includes a 40/60 split-folding rear seat and two stage cargo load floor to better optimize interior space. The GX features QuietTuning, so your drive will be as peaceful as possible. It also offers the available in-vehicle air ionizer for a cleaner driving experience.
Technology
It’s no surprise that the Encore GX comes standard with innovative technology features, such as Teen Driver mode. You can expect to see the latest 8″ Infotainment System that allows simultaneous Bluetooth pairs. The GX will also be Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible. If you wish to have Head-Up Display, HD Surround Vision, and a Rear Camera Mirror then you will be able to add them to your Encore GX if you wish.
Configurations
The 2020 Buick Encore GX configurations include AWD, FWD, turbo engine options, and two different transmissions. The AWD 1.2L turbocharged engine with a continuous variable transmission (CVT) is standard on the Encore GX. The FWD is available with a 1.3L turbocharged engine that is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission.
