Hummer EV Release Date
The anticipation of the the Hummer making a comeback has been anticipated ever since production stopped back in 2010. The reveal of what the 2022 Hummer EV will look like will be shown May 5th, 2020. The initial availability will be Fall 2021.
What Does The Hummer EV Looks Like?
Hummer vehicles were known for their rugged appearance that commanded attention. GMC has announced that the Hummer EV will be a truck. So far, just the grille and front running lights have been shown. GMC has not released any other images or videos of it thus far, but we will keep you updated!
All-Electric Hummer EV
By far the most shocking part about the Hummer EV truck is that it will be all-electric. In the past, Hummer did not have the best reputation for being environmentally friendly. However, the all-new Hummer EV is promised to have zero emissions and “in a class by itself” according to GMC.
GMC made big promises about the Hummer EV’s capabilities. According to GMC, it will have up to 11,500 lb-ft of torque and up to 1,000 horsepower. Not only will it be powerful, but it will be fast. The most shocking update will be that it can to go from 0-60 mph in 3 seconds.
Even though it will be extremely powerful, since it will be all-electric the Hummer EV will be remarkably quiet. GMC is promising a quiet, peaceful driving experience.
